Topic #2 - Visual Representaion of a Song

Hello,

Okay, in the interest of keeping things going - here is the next topic. You can still post to the old topic until whenever, or just tackle this new one.

Hopefully this will help everyone, as I know I've becomed swamped recently, and I'm sure others have as well.

So here's a better more enjoyable topic than the first one, just take a song and make a visual interpretation of it. Quick and easy, and we'll get this place looking good with all kinds of great work.

Topic #1 - What would the world look like if _____ ruled the world?

Okay, here's the first topic. Just something to get the ball rolling and hopfully entice people to join in. Here's some of the ideas I have on how this should go. This will also be up for a while longer just while people get settled in. Also there is no limit to the number of pieces you can submit, so feel free to contribute as much as you like. Likewise, there is no commitment to submit, if you wish to skip a topic.

As I've said before, this isn't a competition. No winners or losers - just for fun.


Now - if someone wanted to posted a challange, and offer up their own reward, that could be a possibility on down the line.

I don't like censorship, and I'm leaving things wide open - but please use your best judgement, some may be participating or viewing from work. If you feel a piece might be NSFW, you can post your submission as a link with a disclaimer.

Also, please make sure your submissions are labeled. This will make it easier to go back and look at past topics.

Other guidelines may pop up as the situtations arise. But for now - have at it and have fun!

Welcome to the woxy Art Collective

This Art/Creative Collective is open to anyone. All mediums are excepted (sketch, paint, photo, digital, fabric/material, metal, ceramic, whatever!) There are no winner's or losers - the idea is to help the group as a whole learn and expand their creativity. We are here to help each other, not decide who's better. Most will probably come from the woxy.com message boards, but if your not a part of there, please don't think you can't come on in a join.

Intially, we may start off doing themes on a biweekly or weekly basis, too determine a good average time would be.
